- Venmo CSV exports import as they come: the title lines are skipped, balance rows stay out of the preview, and bank transfers import as transactions but stay out of the people review tray.
- Cash-outs and top-ups are linked to the matching bank transaction after every import and moved to the Transfer category, so they stop counting as spending or income.
- A review card confirms or rejects each suggested link, and rejecting restores the original categories. Scan for transfers covers rows you imported earlier.
- Payments from friends, and Zelle names inside your bank statement, land in a review tray after import. A Venmo handle you match to a person is remembered; Zelle rows are matched by the person’s name each time.
- The Venmo note stays on the transaction, so a $32 dinner still ties back to the friend who sent it.
- Duplicates are caught across formats: the same transaction from a PDF, a CSV and a QFX is stored once.

Which Venmo export works?+
The CSV statement export from Venmo on the web. Drop it on the import page like any bank file and pick, or create, a Venmo account for it.
What about a Venmo payment paid straight from my bank?+
That payment shows up on both statements. Zedi links the two rows and puts only the bank row in Transfer; the Venmo row keeps its category and its person tag, so balances and spending both stay right.
Does Zelle work the same way?+
Zelle has no export of its own; its payments arrive inside your bank statement. Zedi spots Zelle rows and the counterparty names on them and offers them in the same review tray, matched to people by name.
